Malabrigo Light, DK, 8 Ply Merino Silk Single Spun

Product Information

51% Silk 49% Merino Single ply luxury DK weight yarn

Malabrigo Silky Merino is a gorgeous shimmery yarn in beautiful colours, kettle dyed in Uruguay. This single ply DK weight yarn is perfect for Spring and Summer sweaters, shawls and scarves.

Fibre blend: 51% Silk, 49% Merino
Weight: Double knit
Single Spun
Gauge: 22sts - 24 sts per 10cm swatch or as pattern recommends
Recommended Needles: 3.5mm - 4 mm
Meterage: 137 metres per 50g skein
Care: Handwash. We recommend Eucalan no-rinse Delicate Wash.

Dyelot Batches: Like all Malabrigo yarns, Silky Merino is kettle-dyed in small batches of 10 skeins by artisan dyers and is full of subtle variation and beauty. We suggest buying enough in the same dyelot batch to complete your project as skeins may vary from bag to bag hence the separate dyelot listings. To ensure random color distribution, work from two balls of yarn at once, alternating a few rows from each ball.

Colours: The images shown are taken from our own store, but some colour variation may still apply. All cameras and computer monitors show the colours slightly differently, especially blues and reds. Send an email if you need advice.
