Umu Lace is a delicate and soft blend lace 2ply weight yarn comprising 37% Baby Suri - 37% Super Kid Mohair - 26% Mulberry Silk by Amano Yarns.

Travel on ancient paths through Asia, Turkey and our native Andes to experience a unique, crafted fiber full of the spirit of travel and ancient wisdom. Blended from the ancient silk worm in China, to mohair from the Turkish Ottoman Empire, and our native Incan Suri Alpaca - bred for its noble properties, this yarn has traversed the historical empires to find the softest and most regal yarn.

Composition: 37% Baby Suri - 37% Super Kid Mohair - 26% Mulberry Silk
Thickness / Weight: Lace weight
Meterage: 210 metres per 25g Ball
Suggested Needle size: 3.5mm or as pattern suggests
Care instructions: Hand wash. Dry flat, do not tumble dry or dry clean.

Pattern Inspiration - combine with another strand of either Amano Yarns Mayu Lace or a matching coloured fingering yarn to use with new release patterns that use 2 strands of yarn held together.
